So not only did you teach me about writing memoir, you also taught me about reading and thinking about how others write memoir. Thank you so much! Rebecca

NCWN-West members hosted a party

Saturday Nov 1, 2025, members of the NC Writers' Network - West hosted a going away party for me in Hayesville, NC where I lived for the past thirty years. I was touched and pleased to hear them say how I affected writers and poets in the more than 20 years I led them as Program Coordinator.

The group pictured at the party were from Clay and Cherokee Counties in NC and Counties in North Georgia. Facilitators of the celebration were Joan Howard, far left, Marcia Barnes, front row, far left, Carroll Taylor on Marcia's left, and David Plunkett, back row center behind Richard Cary in blue Jacket.
